EFNEP
Affiliated with Rutgers Cooperative Extension, EFNEP helps limited income families and youth to improve their eating behaviors and to contribute to other personal development through behaviorally focused nutrition education. EFNEP provides services in the following counties Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Passaic and Union. The Expanded Food Nutrition Education Program serves audiences not served by SNAP-Ed Program. EFNEP is a Network Partner who has been instrumental in working with TEFAP in establishing teaching pantries across the state. EFNEP delivers nutrition education classes to limited resource families at the teaching pantries and uses materials created by SNAP-Ed Program to deliver classes.
