KINGS SUPERMARKETS

The SNAP-Ed Support Network recently participated in "5 A Day" week with Kings Supermarkets. An event was held at their Bedminster store. Seniors came to shop in the store and were welcomed by Cynthia Collins of "5 A Day" and various volunteers including Joanne Gould from the Community Health Department at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Joanne taught a class to the seniors teaching them how to indoctrinate 5 servings of fruits and vegetables into their daily diets. Recipes were prepared and the participants were able to taste the recipes.
