The Campbell Soup company houses the "Campbell's Center for Nutrition and Wellness (CCNW). This is a science based information resource to help people of all ages. Campbell's is committed to healthy nutrition and food science research and is engaged in several projects at major universities across the country. Campbell's is a co-sponsor of Shaping America's Youth promoting childhood and adolescent physical activity and healthy lifestyles which focuses on the childhood obesity issue in this country. The Center for Nutrition and Wellness has a team of experts that guide outreach efforts to consumers and health professionals on emerging trends in consumption of Campbell's products to help improve human health. Campbell's also works closely with health and medical associations to support the dissemination of credible information on nutrition and wellness. Campbell's partnership in the NJ SNAP-Ed Support Network is an active one supporting the "Calcium Select to Protect" Social Marketing Campaign which will reduce the risk of childhood lead poisoning, osteoporosis and high blood pressure through proper calcium intake. This partnership demonstrates Campbell's commitment to serving diverse audiences. The program will track SNAP participant shopping behaviors by education and encouragement to purchase calcium-fortified foods as well as dairy foods. Campbell's has many brands which are calcium-fortified such as Spagettios and are appropriate food types for children who need to increase their daily calcium intake. http://www.campbellwellness.com/aboutus/
